“All energy healers agree that healing results from reconnecting to the natural flow of energy from our essential being, bringing us back to our innate authentic self. Wouldn’t it be great if we could consciously do that simply by making a decision to be authentic and connected, and then live from that alignment? Yet for most us this not possible because although we can have a healing experience that brings us into temporary connection and alignment, typically we are not able to maintain the higher energy flow and then slip back into our accustomed patterns of thoughts and reactive behaviors. This is all too common because of how deeply embedded these patterns are in us, since we have unconsciously practiced and held them over the course of our life (and lifetimes!) These are our “bad” energy habits that we must consciously learn to break free of if we are going to be able to maintain this new level of mental and physical health. The new energy flow we experience in a healing becomes a guiding beacon for us to follow and practice in our daily lives. The more accustomed we become to the higher energy or vibration that we experience during healing, the easier it is to recognize and maintain during the rest of our life. That’s why repeated healings are so useful, but even with repeated healings we must still dedicate ourselves to reconnecting and expressing this essential being daily in our lives if we are to enjoy the full benefits of healing work.” So it is the willingness to practice and let go to this higher vibration each morning as we face our day that brings us into the higher vibrations that we seek and crave. Practice makes permanent.
I was sitting with a client today and had the experience of feeling completely in the flow of harmony and rapport with unity consciousness. How do I know? Because when you’re in it you just know. It is a self informing consciousness where you just feel connected and in rapport with everything that is happening around you. It is an experience I want to continue to stay in, but the problem is I don’t always choose it when I could. You see, it is always available, but we choose to avoid it or do something different with our attention. If I could stay in the flow of the “current unfolding experience”( what I prefer to call it rather than the “present moment”) I know I would enjoy life so much more. I would feel the beauty of what is unfolding. I know this because I have been there, and yet it requires a conscious effort again and again to stay in the experience of it. We all have this potential. All it takes is focused awareness and a willingness to let go. This is something I am committed to. We’ll see how this goes from here. I’ll keep you all posted.
One of the qualities we like to encourage is the feeling of lightness. Keeping things light helps launch and move things along. When things are light enough they can float, they can sail, they can fly! When we allow ourselves to take things lightly they are easier to deal with and do not feel like a burden. They can even be enjoyable. Another word for this could be detachment, but that is such an complex word and sounds like something to be attained. Lightness reminds us to play like children and have fun. When things feel too hard to a child they stop playing and move on to something else. This sometimes can be a practical strategy for adults too. Too often we push ourselves in ways that are stressful and undermind our true intentions. Keeping it light also means keeping the light in what you do. Have it feel good. Remember to enjoy it. As they say, “The journey is the destination.” You don’t have to be perfect or have your task come out perfect, but the better it feels along the way the better it will feel at the end. It’s ok to relax, let go, and to have fun! This is it! This is your life now. Be light hearted and let yourself feel free. No one else can do this for you. No matter what is happening around you, it is up to you to let go and take things lightly. The feeling of lightness really is a very spiritual feeling and will help you stay aligned and manifest your dreams. Trust the lightness. It is your friend.
Appreciation is very much underrated and overlooked as a feeling which moves us forward in our evolution toward creative and abundant living. The more we are able to appreciate what is happening for us right now, the more we experience the joy and abundance of living. When we pause and take time to look around and appreciate what we do have and what we do feel and what is good that is happening right now, the more we open the doorway for more and better things to happen in our future. We don’t move into a more joyous and radiant future by complaining about what is not happening now, or what we don’t have, and what is wrong with what is going on now. When we focus on what is working, what is fun, exciting, interesting, beautiful, or meaningful about what is happen right now, the more we pull that into our future. Whatever you focus on you get more of. When you take time to feel appreciation, you magnetize more things into your life to appreciate. So I am making it a practice to pause and look around for things to appreciate right now. Look around you. What can you acknowledge and appreciate about your world right now? What do you see, feel, hear, experience, or understand? Doing this opens to door for more. So let’s enjoy what we do have already and enjoy the ride!
o everyone knows gratitude right? It’s a powerful feeling that moves us in the direction of healing and wholeness. It’s about being grateful for the opportunity to be here on Earth in this dimension and alive! Being in this dimension is a real opportunity to grow and change that does not exist in the same way in the spiritual dimensions of light. Here in this dimension we have the opportunity from one moment to the next to choose light or darkness. Every moment! Once we understand how this works we come to realize we really are creators at one with God. Every thought we think creates something new and different. Will we create love, connection, joy, and healing or will we choose resentment, separation, darkness and fear. That is our free will choice and that is our lesson to learn. What feels better? As we hold appreciation and gratitude for our experiences and opportunities constantly available to us we increase the amount of joy and lightness we feel and attract to ourselves. The more we appreciate and hold gratitude the more opportunities and experiences that give us joy and lightness come towards us. Gratitude helps increase our vibration. It helps increase our light. It helps increase our joy. It steers our ship unerringly towards the light. Find something you are grateful for and it will move you in the right direction-towards the light, and I am grateful for that!
