Are you stressed, anxious, burnt out, or always fighting to keep yourself ahead of the game, or do you simply need to unwind and recharge? Sanctuary Yoga is your place to take care of your mind, body, and soul at a deep level. Sanctuary Yoga is gentle but focused. It is slow, steady, and mindful. It allows your nervous system to let go deeply to help your whole system recalibrate and reset itself.
Through asana (forms/postures/poses), pranayama (conscious breath work), and chanting, you’ll find or strengthen your own internal reset dial. Once a month Sanctuary Yoga offers evening Yoga Nidra (specific yogic guided meditation for deep relaxation and healing) and other yoga classes to be announced.
Here at the Sanctuary our intention is to keep our yoga practice simple so that we can relax and let go. There is nothing to prove and nothing to work hard at. The only thing that yoga at the Sanctuary requires is that you show up. All the rest is taken care of. You’ll be guided in and out of forms in a deep and rich way with Haleya often giving 2 or 3 options whether you are new to yoga, have an injury, or are a practicing yogi and want more sensation.
So whether you practice just at class or learn a sequence you can take home, you’ll discover your own inner resources for health and healing.
At Sanctuary Yoga you have a choice whether to have hands on instruction or not. Haleya also offers the option of giving a little Reiki to everyone in the class.
Can’t take group yoga classes? You might opt for 1:1 instruction if you have an injury, are new to yoga, have PTSD, or any number of other reasons.
