Yoga Class: gentle/all levels

An event every week that begins at 8:00 am on Thursday, repeating until September 6, 2019
August 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and September 5 @ 5:30 pm – 6:45 pm
Through asana (forms/postures/poses), pranayama (conscious breath work), mudra, and chanting, you’ll find or strengthen your own internal reset dial.
The intention is to keep our yoga practice simple so that we can relax and let go. There is nothing to prove and nothing to work hard at. The only thing required is that you show up. All the rest is taken care of. You’ll be guided in and out of forms in a deep and rich way with Haleya often giving 2 or 3 options whether you are new to yoga, have an injury, or are a practicing yogi and want more sensation.
She often includes a theme connecting to the cycles of nature or qualities such as peace, balance or grounding. Sanctuary Yoga is also the home of Metta Infused Yoga.
Whether you practice just at class or learn a sequence you can take home, you’ll discover or deepen your own inner sanctuary and resources for health and healing.
At Sanctuary Yoga you have a choice whether to have hands on instruction or not.
Can’t take group yoga classes? You might opt for 1:1 instruction if you have an injury, are new to yoga, have PTSD, or any number of other reasons.
Reasons for 1:1 Personal Instruction
Injury: An injury might cause you to feel that you can’t participate in a group class. Although Haleya is not a yoga therapist and cannot work directly with your injury, she can help you develop a sequence where you can practice yoga without using the injured area.
New to yoga: Haleya is available for those who wish to learn basic yoga in order to feel comfortable and confident to join a group class. Consider this as your personal Yoga 101 class.
