As we move through this difficult time it is increasingly important that we find our heart space and heart feelings and move our sense of awareness there as often as possible. It is only from there that we can respond to each other with love and compassion. I know that when I go off track and find myself saying things out of fear or self protection, I must gather my intention and pull myself back from the throws of reactive behaviors and find my way back to my heart space and the feelings of caring and compassion that arise when I get there. So this is an important practice. Yes we can try to be more present, but only when we look at the world from our hearts can we see and feel the balance that we need to move froward with compassion and clarity.
