Reiki: The Gift of Compassion at
End of Life
Those facing end of life experience many challenges that require specific and unique care. End of Life/Hospice Reiki is a specialized form of Reiki that addresses the unique challenges that arise from the spiritual, emotional, and physical distress that can occur as people journey towards and at the end of life. On a practical level, giving Reiki to someone on a nursing home bed or hospital bed is physically challenging for the practitioner. Find out how you can give Reiki and not walk out in pain! This course is designed for people who already have a minimum of Reiki I certification, and want to deepen their Reiki skills in order to work more effectively with those who are dying.

What our students have to say
Your class was superb! You have such a deep and gentle grasp of the patient needs and end of life care. You guided the group beautifully through what could have been overwhelming material. Thank you so much.

This course was marvelous and soulful. The practical hands-on instruction coupled with the experiential exercises and suggestions were very helpful. Thank you for encouraging us to follow our intuition and our heart, and thank you so much for your generosity, spirit and kindness.

It was a powerful day. It was wonderful to experience what dying might be like. It led me to being not afraid of dying. Also the number and variety of experiential exercises was great! It was also good to discuss the comfort of Reiki as opposed to the healing of it alone.
- N.W.
Great presentation. Clear and informative. Exercises were helpful. The integration of wisdom in the room and the group sharing were also very helpful. I loved the spontaneity of the work, knowing that your intuition guides you and your patient in the moment. I now feel more confident in adding Reiki to my hospice volunteer work.
